School Fundraising
Having been involved with the Parent Teacher Association at the local school for a number of years I know how difficult and time consuming School Fundraising can be. Every year the PTA asks parents to help with fundraising and after the request came through this year it got a few of us thinking of new money making ideas but it seemed that everything that we thought of had been done before. One of the parents then suggested ?brick fundraising` where we could ask a parent or sponsor to buy a brick as part of a building project for the new school sports hall and IT centre. We could then recognise sponsors who make considerable contributions by adding their name, company logo or message to the brickwork of the construction project in recognition of their support to the School Fundraising campaign.. There are also a number of construction companies out there who specialise in this sort of School Fundraising project and they will engrave bricks, plaques and paving with the names of sponsors or donors. This would be a great way of attracting larger donations.
